ORGANIZING OURSELVES is a practice that is worked in group on relation with tension between reunion and scattering, crystallization and dissolution. It thinks contingents as something changeable, mobile, procedural and dynamic.

ORGANIZING OURSELVES is a written concept of two words: ORGANIZE and OURSELVES.

​

ORGANIZING OURSELVES is an action and implies the practice of corrupting. Is something that is not given, and therefore implies a process, a will. Is the action of placing things together and articulating its relations.

​

OURSELVES means US as number more than a consensus. It doesn’t imply fusion, before well noted difference.

​

ORGANIZING US is a group practice towards how to produce performativity in public and common space.

​

This activity is part of the second creation residency of the work Monument, to be released in 2019 as part of the trilogy How to put the body on? by Olga Gutiérrez
